Here's your critique :D
This is a really cute piece! I'm loving the simple colour palette and the central composition really helps draw viewer attention to the subject. The minimalistic design as well as the simple colours really helps give it a charming country feel. The blurring of the horizon into the sky gives an awesome sense of depth and distance, and the way Earthfang is looking into the distance out of the frame adds a very pensive feel to the painting. Your linework is really clean and solid too, which is great, and you did amazingly on the anatomy and features - the paws look awesome and I can't stop staring cause they're so cute? I also think you did a great job on the scar - it's really obvious that that's what it is. The clouds look super cute and fluffy too, and I actually love how you have the whiskers a liiittle bit off the side of the face, it's such a unique touch.
One thing I do notice is that although the horizon has that awesome distant effect, the cat is positioned slightly too far up the page I think to fully utilise that - a little bit too close to the horizon, if you get what I mean? I also think then that the grass tufts that are right on the horizon are also too far up, and would be smaller if they were to look further away. Just something to think about ^^ While I love the clouds, I think they do also look a bit plasticky in places because of the solid highlights, so if you were to blur the highlights I think they'd look even more fluffy! One thing I've found with scars is that they can look more 'raised' if you add a pale line right next to them or in the middle, just mirroring the line you've already got. It helps the darker line look like shadow :) I also think that if you added a bit of tonal variation on the grass and sky (darker and lighter areas, just patches or in the corners like a vignette) it can really help round out the painting visually and give both depth and visual interest :)
Hope this helps!
